5 Days Of Wild Fun: Amboseli & Two Tsavo Parks In Kenya

We'll start our day early at 7:00 am as we pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi. Our destination? The breathtaking Amboseli National Park!

As we zip through the Nairobi - Mombasa Highway, watch the sun wake up, sprinkling golden dust over the farms, homes, and hills. 

Oh look! Do you see that peak rising? That's Mt. Kilimanjaro. It's like a lighthouse, guiding us to Amboseli park.

We expect to reach by late morning. Once there, we'll rest a bit at your safari lodge or tented camp. Grab some grub because it's time for your first game drive! 

Ah, Amboseli! It's famous for two things. 

First is the gorgeous Mt.Kilimanjaro, ruling the landscape. Second, you'll get to see heaps of happy elephants roaming free. Oh, but the fun doesn't end with elephants. You can also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes… and much more.

In the evening, fortune might smile on us with a glance of Kilimanjaro's snowy peak. When the night dances in, tuck in cozy at your accommodation. And guess what? This fun has just begun. This is night one of your wild safari adventure. Get, set, roar!

Let's rise early to watch animals wake up and enjoy the serene start of the day. We can take a safari in the morning, then grab breakfast. Your guide can offer lots of fun things to do afterward - just ask! Keep your eyes peeled for many different wildlife like giraffes, monkeys, and much more.

We'll have lunch and the afternoon is yours to unwind or visit the park. We could venture up Observation Hill for amazing views of elephants and birds like kingfishers and geese. Alternatively, let's learn about local Maasai culture by visiting their village. The choice is all yours!

Final day in Amboseli may surprise us with views of budget Mount Kilimanjaro. Now we're off to Tsavo West. A two-hour drive might show additional wildlife. This part's lush hills and acacia woods will draw us in.

What's at Tsavo? Large wildlife! Lions, leopards and crocodiles but also rhinos, a gem in Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. It houses over 80 which is fascinating. But let's explore more.

Mzima Springs, unexpectedly offers lush greenery with a variety of exotic birds, fish and hippos. No cars allowed here; just your feet!

Don't forget the volcanic ruins and grand Baobab trees - a sight to remember.

We'll spot various wildlife during our journey to Tsavo East, a park famous for the Tsavo lions. This expansive park is filled with elephants, zebras, giraffes, and others. 

Our guide will take you to popular waterholes such as Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock, where animals come to drink. You'll also explore the Galana River, known for its crocodile and hippo sightings. Further sights include the Yatta Plateau, a unique volcanic structure. 

Day five of our safari is here. Today's highlight? A game drive across the park and a train trip.

We'll grab breakfast, head to Voi train station, and catch the 11:45 am Madaraka Express. As the high-speed train zips across the Kenyan plains, watch for wildlife through the picture windows.

There's no shortage of comfort in first-class either. Fancy a nibble or a stroll? Visit the buffet car.

Eventually, we'll land in bustling Mombasa.
